Welcoming you to another One Shot Wednesday - Week 10

If things in your neck of the woods are anything like things on the moon, the children are back in school, the weather is changing, and It's Time To Write!!!

We have had wonderful submissions to our first poetry competition. Please check back next Tuesday to see who the winner is!

I'm Moondustwriter and I am hosting this week. I would like to welcome you to another week of fine poetry at One Shot. If you have any feedback for future One Shots send them our way. Oneshotpoetry@gmail.com is the best way to reach us. We strive to create an interactive community; we want to represent the talent that is out there - YOU!

If you are new to One Shot, we are glad to have you join us. Here is the format we follow:

1) Write a poem
2) Link your poem to One Shot using our Mr Linky (your name and the URL for the poem)
3) Visit other One Shot poets. Tell them how you felt when reading, encourage them, interact...we might just learn something from each other...
4) Tell others about One Shot Wednesday: by including a link to this page on your post, through Twitter or Facebook

On behalf of One Shot Wednesday: Pete MarshallAdam DustusBrian Miller and Myself, welcome to our corner stage of poetic paradise. We are glad you are here.
Your'e On!!!

  20. Ha! Given my past comic verse, you probably think I can't write dark, serious, brooding poetry. Well, you might be right, but at least it is a dark and stormy night in my poem. Come on over and check it out.

  39. I have posted my poem Viagra For Your Soul from my blog "Backyard Poetry. It is a poem that explores our quick fix, pill popping society and its ramifications. Essentially imagine finding a pill to deal with our political and social problems. Nothing is ever that easy.

    Thanks,
